RABBET’S COMMITMENT TO RESPONSIBLE GAMING

Last Updated: 2/6/24

Our Stance & Commitment

For most people, having some action on a sporting event is an exciting and fun recreational pursuit. For others, it can become a problem with devastating consequences for them, their families, and friends.

At Rabbet, our focus is to put the social aspect back into the world of sports and sports gaming. We want you to enjoy your experience at the ballpark, stadium, concession stand lines, on the couch with friends, and yes, on our app. As part of that experience, we want to help you to stay in control, and not allow your play to control you. That is the significance of safer play.

It’s important to remember you should only risk what you can afford and always set reasonable limits for yourself. From the second you open your Rabbet account to the moment you collect any winnings, our first and top priority is to make sure you’re playing safely and responsibly.

We provide our players with tools to set budgets, limits, and cool-off periods, and always give you the option to self-exclude. Stay informed and learn the details of the games your are playing or chose to offer. If, for any reason, feel you need help, we strongly encourage you to contract your local responsible gaming organizations.

It’s more fun when it’s for fun! Here are a few things to keep in mind while on Rabbet

  • Set a realistic budget that you can afford. Never play beyond your means.
  • Set a time limit on your play and stick to it.
  • Don’t place large bets in the hopes of winning big.
  • Don’t try to make money by chasing your losses.
  • Gaming should not be viewed as a pathway to financial gains or shortcut to financial success
  • Avoid gambling if you are in recovery from any dependency or are under the influence of alcohol or any other substance.

If you feel your gaming is out of control, please seek help. Help is available in most states and can be found at the National Council on Problem Gambling. Useful Guidelines

If you are concerned about your gambling practices, there are a number of helpful guidelines:

Try to establish limits for the amounts you want to risk or deposit. Rabbet offers “Player Limits”. If you would like to set limits on your deposits, you can do so by visiting “Responsible Gaming” section of your profile and selecting to set a limit for the Deposit, Making Offers, Max Offer, or Time Limits on your account.

Consider how long you wish any session to last before commencing and be sure to keep an eye on the clock.

If you are recovering from any form of dependency, or if you are under the influence of alcohol or any other mood-altering substance (including some prescription medication), gambling is not recommended.

Gambling should always be treated as a form of recreation and should not be viewed as an alternative source of income or a way to recoup debt.

Do not let gambling interfere with your daily responsibilities.

Recognizing that you may be developing a gambling problem is the first step to regaining control.

According to the National Council on Problem Gambling, problem gambling–or gambling addiction–includes all gambling behavior patterns that compromise, disrupt or damage personal, family or vocational pursuits. The essential features are increasing preoccupation with gambling, a need to bet more money more frequently, restlessness or irritability when attempting to stop, “chasing” losses, and loss of control manifested by continuation of the gambling behavior in spite of mounting, serious, negative consequences. In extreme cases, problem gambling can result in financial ruin, legal problems, loss of career and family, or even suicide.

If you think you may fit this definition, Gamblers Anonymous has prepared a 20 question test to help players identify if they are developing a problem. These questions can be found at the following link: Gamblers Anonymous
